Puff Pastry and Nutella Pinwheels

Here is a quick, easy and pretty dessert or appetizer for your next party.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees

Take 1 sheet of thawed, but still cold puff pastry and cut into 9 squares with a sharp knife, approximately 3 inches each. Using a sharp knife, cut from each corner toward the center, stopping 1 inch from the center. After cutting all corners of the square you will have a 1 inch circle in the center of the square. Lift one half of a corner and fold it toward the center of the square. Continue with all corners to create the pinwheel. 

Bake pinwheels on a cookie sheet (I use a silpat on the cookie sheet or use a light coat of baking spray) Cook for approximately 10-12 minutes. Puff pastry should be golden brown. 

When pinwheels are cool, place a dollop of Nutella in center of each pinwheel. Dust with powdered sugar.
