Lincoln City Chowder Cook-Off 2013

Oregon Coast Activities

 One of the favorite past times when visiting the Oregon Coast is tasting all the fabulous clam chowder that's available. Forget about having to drive all over for chowder! Come to Lincoln City November 9 & 10 and vote for your favorite chowder and let your vote count!


$5 one-day admission includes 10 tasting-sized portions. Children ages 12 and under may enter for free. You'll also enjoy musical performances by Mark Alan, Ivie-Meziere Trio and on Sunday November 10th, there will also be a Native American Cultural Celebration with the Confederated Tribe of Siletz Indians and Chinook Winds Casino

  • 11am – Chowder Cook-Off Opens
  • 11am – People’s Choice Voting Begins
  • 11am-3:30pm – Enter to win the Grand Prize Package
  • 3:30pm – People’s Choice voting ends
  • 3-4pm – 16oz to-go portions available for purchase
  • 3:45pm – People’s Choice Award and Grand Prize Winner announced
  • 4pm – Chowder Cook-Off ends
  • All Day – FREE live music

  • 11am – Opening ceremonies featuring Tribal Dancers
  • 12pm – Cooking Demonstration by Executive Chef Jack Strong of Chinook Winds Casino
  • 1pm – Story Telling from the Siletz Tribe
  • 2pm – Cooking Demonstration by Executive Chef Jack Strong of Chinook Winds Casino
  • 3pm – Chowder Cook-Off ends
  • All Day – FREE Native American craft activities and information
